More conferences to be announced!
Model UN is best known for its conferences, which allow you to take advantage of the knowledge you gain from meetings as well as grow closer to other members. Especially for travel conferences, you are essentially going on a vacation with your favorite people (yes, Model UN is that fun) while putting your speaking and leadership skills to the test. Of course, you will also be able to participate in mock conferences before actual conferences to master conference etiquette and work out the kinks. We’re sure you will have a great experience with conferences, and we hope you join us for our next one!
November 8, 2024 - November 10, 2024 | Stanford University
The Stanford Model United Nations Conference is one of the most competitive conferences of the year, but also one with most to offer. With three days packed with five committee sessions, it may leave you a bit exhausted, but never with any regrets about attending!
January 31, 2025 - February 1, 2025 | Santa Teresa High School
The Santa Clara Valley Model United Nations Conference is recommended for all members regardless of prior experience. SCVMUN is a great chance to prepare for more difficult or competitive conferences — but as the second-oldest and second-largest conference on the West Coast, it has plenty to offer of its own right as well.
February 13, 2025 - February 16, 2025 | Georgetown University
The North American Invitational Model United Nations Conference is one of our travel conferences. With over 3,000 delegates each year, NAIMUN is the largest student-run Model United Nations conference in the world, and many consider it the de facto national championship conference. Don’t let all that scare you, though: it’s often best remembered by delegates as a 6-day trip to Washington, DC, full of chances to meet new people and make new friends.
March 7, 2025 - March 9, 2025 | University of California, Berkeley
Our fifth conference of the year, Berkeley Model United Nations Conference, is the oldest high school Model UN conference in the world. With over 2,000 delegates each year, it ranks with NAIMUN among the premier high school conferences in the world — and, likewise, among those with the most fun in store. BMUN is our second overnight conference, located in nearby Berkeley, California, including a 2-night hotel stay.
TBD | Monta Vista High School
South Bay Model United Nations Conference is one of our last conferences of the year, and is co-hosted by yours truly at Monta Vista! It’s a great chance to hone your Model UN skills with other delegates from the Bay Area. MUN conferences are rare in the spring season, so this is a great way for you to keep improving on your MUN abilities. Note that Monta Vista delegates are unable to win awards.
